The Institute of East and West Studies is one of the leading research institutes in South Korea, a country which has drastically transformed from embracing foreign culture to producing independent cultural content that is attracting global attention.
The institute will solidify interdisciplinary and collaborative research in contemporary Korean studies and East Asian critical studies to build a well-balanced and stable foundation for a research hub that is committed to creating new paradigms for sustainable development of human society.
